Our Story

Built in 1982, renamed in 1986, still standing on the same principles.

The company was incorporated on 15 April 1982 under the name Antarctica Investments Limited, registered under the Companies Act, 1956. Its founding purpose was straightforward: to acquire and hold shares, stock, debentures, bonds and securities issued or guaranteed by companies operating in India or abroad, and to finance industrial enterprise within the meaning of Section 370 of the Companies Act, 1956.

On 24 April 1986, the company took the name it carries today — Tarangini Investments Limited. It is steered by a Board of Directors and management team with deep grounding in finance, accounts and law, and it holds itself to a high standard of corporate governance as a matter of course rather than obligation.
